Kia ora, I’m Alex Filotimo.

I’m a pseudonymous climate researcher and founder here to support Web3 and #ReFi projects reshaping our world.

I am studying web3 mechanisms for impact as the Aera Force movement grows. If I or the Aera Force DAO can support your initiatives, feel free to email me (alexfilotimo [AT] gmail.com).

Background

I have spent my last four years supporting climate venture funds, studied climate science in university, and spend my time studying bi-partisan theories for lasting societies.

I also have

• met/worked with dozens of climate accelerators and hundreds of startups decarbonizing our world
• studied the steelmaking industry, ocean decarbonization, carbon sequestration & utilization, greenwashing in carbon offsets, water management & contamination, and green chemistry
• worked on startup operations in Europe — for three agencies and two AI startups
• built a nonprofit preventing greenwashing in climate action, and consulted with carbon offset projects
• wrote a research report for government agencies on decarbonizing residential energy

I’m always open to discuss new models to drive climate impact at scale, reduce corporate influence through web3, or your ideas for scaling meaningful investment. Feel free to DM me.
